2.2.1 To Install CLINCK Cyber Café Manager
CLINCK Cyber Café Manager helps in better Café Management and Accounting.
The minimum hardware requirements to install CLINCK Cyber Café Manager are:
512 MB RAM
1.5 GHz Processor
The minimum software requirements to install CLINCK Cyber Café Manager are:
Internet Explorer version 6
Service Pack 2 of Windows XP
To download the CLINCK Cyber Café Manager, do the following:
Register as a partner with Ideacts, http://www.ideacts.com/cms/partner/NewCafeRegistration.aspx
Ideacts mails you the Café code and Password to activate the café.
After activating the cafe, login to the Ideacts Partners website at http://www.ideacts.com/CMS/partner/Login.aspx
Download the Installation Manuals for both CLINCK Cyber Café Manager and CLINCK Cyber Café Client.
Download the latest CLINCK Cyber Café Manager Installer from the Installers section of the website and extract the CLINCK Cyber Café Manager Installer.
To Install the CLINCK server, do the following:
Run the setup from the location where you extracted it.
As the InstallShield Wizard prepares for the setup, the welcome screen opens.
Click Next.
The License Agreement dialog box opens.
Click I accept the terms of the license agreement and click Next.
The Choose Destination Location dialog box opens.
Click Change, to install CLINCK Cyber Café Manager in a different folder apart from the default C: drive.
Click Next.
The setup will copy all required files for installation.
After the setup finishes copying the files, Ready to Install the Program dialog box opens.
Click Install.
The Install Shield Wizard Completed dialog box opens.
Click Finish.
The Setup Wizard welcome screen opens.
On the Setup Wizard welcome screen, click Next.
The Setup Wizard [Step 1] - Activation screen opens.
The setup wizard comprises of three steps:
Activating the CLINCK Cyber Café Manager.
Creating Rate Plans.
Setting the Café Terminals.
To activate the CLINCK server, do the following:

Enter the Café Code and click Verify.
On verification, Café Name and Café Address are displayed on the screen.

Click Next to proceed with activation.
When the activation is done successfully, a dialog box opens, informing about the successful activation.
Click OK.
Result: The window for Rate Plan creation opens.
To creating a rate plan, do the following:
In the Duration (From) box, the default value is zero minutes.
In the Duration (To) box, select the minimum duration that you want to set. For Example: 30 minutes.
Enter Price based on duration.
Click Add.
The rate plan is added.
Click Next.
Result: The Client setup screen opens.
To set up the café terminals, do the following:

Click Next.
Result: The Setup Wizard - Finish screen opens.
Click Finish.
The Server Login dialog box opens.
Enter default login details for Employee Name as "admin" and Password as "password".
Click Login.
The How To Start tab opens.

Click Home.
The Manage Terminals screen appears.
Result: The CLINCK Cyber Café Manager is installed successfully.
